**Buffalo Woman was an unidentified Indigenous victim believed to be in her mid 20s of an alleged Winnipeg serial killer convicted for murdering three other indigenous women.**
**She is believed to have been murdered between March and May of 2022.**
**While the remains of Buffalo Woman and the 3 others are believed to be in a local landfill, no actions have been taken to find and recover them.**

There are currently efforts being taken to identify Buffalo Woman via a reversible jacket that is believed to have belonged to her.

The weight that Buffalo Woman is still unidentified means there is a family and community that have a loved one missing and they are unaware of her fate.

The unwillingness of authorities and the government to search the landfill for these indigenous women is keeping families from being able to lay their loved ones to rest with proper ceremony.
