Ottawa Comiccon

This annual event dedicated to pop culture takes the form of a fan convention with multi-genre content: comic books, sci-fi, horror, anime, video games and the entertainment world. Ottawa Comiccon is one of the fastest growing paid events in Ontario, attracting an engaged young adult target audience. It features a large array of exhibits with several companies demonstrating their wares and a few vehicles or set pieces from film or television are on display, a shopping experience like no other, aimed at fans that are looking for games, T-Shirts, comics, toys, statues, replicas and more collector items.

Join me at Geeked Out and #GetYourGameOn!

Geeks everywhere are called to assemble on March 26-27th, 2022 at the Nepean Sportsplex in Ottawa! This will be a 2 day event running from 10am-4pm each day!

Fellow geeks will be given the opportunity to shop from over 100 booths, enter some amazing draws, socialize, #GetYourGameOn in our gaming corner, dress up in your favourite cosplay, visit with some superheroes and so much more!

Admission will be $5.00 each (kids 12 and under will get in free but must be accompanied by an adult).

Saturday March 26th 10:00am-4:00pm, Sunday March 27th 10:00am-4:00pm

Coloring Together

Coloring to Heal is a new Facebook group Willow created for all those who wish to share their works of art that they color, from books and colouring pages. The group is a safe space for people to also share their journey with using coloring as a healing and self soothing tool.

Willow Rivers is a non-binary, disabled artist and illustrator sharing their journey with art and healing and encouraging others to do the same with the coloring books that they publish.

Supporting NWAC

The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) is a national Indigenous organization representing political voices of Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit, Transgender, and Gender-Diverse+ (WG2STGD+) People in Canada.
